By rights, my exercise regime should be slowing down now that I have hit threescore years and ten. Instead, it gets tougher all the time. Over the past year, I have added CrossFit, Insanity and boxing to my regular exercise programme of weights, cardio, spin and treadmill – or at least my instructors have. Rather than making concessions to my age, they are working me ever harder, and although it’s an effort to get to the gym at 6.30 every morning and put myself through increasingly difficult paces, the results - and the compliments - are more than worth it. Top 9 Anti-aging Antioxidants
Edward Group reveals the top nine anti-aging antioxidants. (You probably haven't heard of some of these.)
For years, scientists believed aging was a foregone conclusion and out of our control. Recent research, however, indicates that we have more authority over the aging process than previously realized. Ketogenic Diet Improves Insulin Sensitivity and Numerous Aging Markers

... Do you want to live to be 100? How about 110, or even 120? Statistically, the younger you are, the greater your chances of reaching those milestones—that much is known.
There is even a fairly strong possibility that lifespans beyond 150 will be possible in the next few decades as improvements in 3D printing, stem cell, and nanotech continue to improve.
But when it comes to understanding the complexity of human longevity and all of the factors that determine your lifespan, there is much we still don’t understand. Researchers have the advantage of an ever-growing pool of centenarians and supercentenarians. Supercentenarians are those rare individuals who live past 110. Read more

Christina Sarich reveals five foods you should be eating to protect your brain as it ages.
Omega-3 and Omega-6 fatty acids are the building blocks of a well functioning brain. Many seniors start to develop cognitive impairment as they age not because they are simply getting older, but because their nutrition is lacking. An Exercise That Will Wildly Improve Your Memory
Did you know that with that with proper diet, fitness, and practice, memory can actually improve as we age? Besides that, there is an exercise that can wildly improve your memory.
If you ask any elementary school teacher what children forget in the classroom every day, you’ll learn that in addition to forgetting facts, they also leave behind all sorts of things: books, pens, iPods, etc. But what you won’t hear from the kids is, “What’s the matter with me? Unfortunately, in our society, after age 25 or so, many folks begin to focus on any glitch in memory as evidence for its demise. Normal forgetting is cataloged as a “senior moment,” and the decline of memory becomes a self-fulfilling prophecy.
Neuroscientists agree that with proper diet, fitness and practice, memory can improve as we age. They’ve also discovered that learning something new is one of the best ways to strengthen your brain over the years. Read more
